Viewing and downloading a schema in Wrangler

You can view and download a schema at any time in Wrangler. You might want to view the schema periodically while you apply transformations to a dataset as a quality check. Likewise, you might want to download the schema to back it up, add to a version control system (such as GitHub), or share with other developers on your team.

To view or download a schema in Wrangler, follow these steps:

  1. With the dataset open, click More > View Schema:

    The schema appears:

     

  2. To download the schema, click the download icon in the upper right corner.
    Now, you can back it up, add it to version control, or share it with other developers.
