When you first install CDAP, you’ll see a namespace called default. You can work in the default namespace, but you’ll probably want to create other namespaces. For example, you might have a namespace for Development, one for Testing, and one for Production.
Creating a namespace
To create a namespace, follow these steps:
Go to the Hamburger menu.
In the Namespace section, click the down arrow.
Click Add Namespace.
Enter a name and description and complete the optional configuration steps.
