Use the CDAP Sandbox to get started developing data pipelines and replication pipelines. The CDAP Sandbox is designed for development only. You can run a couple of pipelines concurrently. If you need want to run lots of pipelines concurrently, you need to use a compute profile to have pipeline execution outside of the docker image and VM image. Likewise, for the standalone version of CDAP Sandbox, you’ll to use a compute profile, such as Dataproc on GCP, if you want to run more than a couple pipelines concurrently.
