Description

Amazon EMR 5.x uses Hive 2.0 and Spark 2.0 and possibly others. This is a tracking ticket, with sub-tasks for individual components.

As of today, EMR 4.9 was giving an error. EMR 5.2 and 5.3 seemed fine. EMR 5.4+ is HBase 1.3, so couldn't be tested...
