Metrics Explorer in UI - selecting elements is buggy (see description)

Have any app deployed, and visit this page:
http://localhost:9999/#/analyze

Click 'Select Element'. As you type, it will filter the options. However, when you remove characters, it does not un-filter the filtered results. In fact, even if you try to add another metric to the chart after this, the 'Select Element' will display a limited amount of elements, based upon anything you typed before (until the page is refreshed).
This functionality works as expected with the 'Select Metric' input right below 'Select Element', though.
