Hydrator studio styling is completely broken on ubuntu VM

I don't know how to describe this very well, but here's a UI layman's version:
1. For the toolbar, all the buttons always seem disabled. However, the problem is that their click area is somewhere outside.
2. In the Chromium browser, in the output schema section, the data type drop down is broken.

However, apart from this, we need to test all functionality through the UI, since a lot of the basic styling seems broken.
