Working with multiple versions of the same plugin

This topic applies to:

• Data Fusion 6.1.2 and earlier

• Data Fusion 6.2.0 and earlier

If you have multiple versions of the same plugin in a Cloud Data Fusion instance, you can select which one you want to use in a data pipeline. Note that only one version can be used per pipeline. For example, you cannot mix  1.1.0 and DLP 1.2.0 in the same pipeline.

To set the default version of a plugin:

1. In the Studio, hover your mouse over the plugin you want to add.
   After a second or so, a box will appear with the plugin details. You will see the current version of the plugin and the Change button next to it. 

2. To change the default version of the plugin, click on the Change button. 
   Note: If you don't see the Change button that means you only have one version of the plugin in your instance.
   

   

3. Click the version of the plugin you want to use in the pipeline.
   This is now the default version of the plugin for all pipelines.

The plugin is added to the pipeline.
